More than just a sightseeing journey, the Scarlet Knights will compete in six matches against professional and club-level teams. They’ll play two matches each in Belgrade (Serbia), Maribor (Slovenia), and Milan (Italy), blending athletics with rich cultural exploration.
The tour kicks off in Belgrade, where the team will explore historic and artistic landmarks like the Savamala district, Belgrade Fortress, Mt. Avala, and the Belgrade Design District. On the court, they’ll face teams from Lajkovac and Stara Pazova.
Next stop: Zagreb, Croatia. There, the squad will stroll through the vibrant Dolac Market and admire the iconic 13th-century St. Mark’s Church before continuing to Maribor, Slovenia.
In Slovenia, the Knights will square off against OTP Banka and OTP Banka Branik. The visit will also include time at the Dras Center, downtown Maribor, and the scenic Pohorje Mountain.
The final leg of the tour takes place in Italy, with visits to Venice, Verona, Milan, and Lake Como. In Venice, the team will hop aboard water taxis and tour Piazza San Marco and the Doge’s Palace. While in Milan, they’ll face CABIATE 2 and close out the tour with a final matchup against Nazionale Ita Juniores following a scenic visit to Lake Como.
