Chelsea Football Club has been hit with a €31 million (£27 million) fine by UEFA for violations of Financial Fair Play (FFP) regulations.
According to The Times journalist Martyn Ziegler, an additional €60 million fine has been suspended and will only be enforced if the club fails to comply with FFP rules in the future.
This development comes as part of UEFA’s continued scrutiny of clubs’ financial dealings, particularly under past ownership. Chelsea will now be under close watch to ensure full compliance moving forward.
