Transfer: Donnarumma Breaks Silence on Joining Man United
Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma has dismissed any suggestion of leaving the club during the current summer transfer window.
Despite lifting the UEFA Champions League, Ligue 1, and French Cup with PSG last season, Donnarumma’s future had been the subject of growing speculation. Reports suggested the Italian shot-stopper was seeking a salary upgrade to match Galatasaray striker Victor Osimhen, especially after helping Luis Enrique’s side achieve a historic treble.
With his contract set to expire in June 2026, there had been whispers about a potential exit or a reshuffling in PSG’s goalkeeping department, particularly with young talent Lucas Chevalier expected to arrive soon.
However, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Donnarumma and his camp have made it clear — he is not planning to leave this summer. The 26-year-old is open to staying at the club and fighting for his place, just as he did in the past alongside Keylor Navas.
While his long-term future may still be up for discussion in the coming months, Donnarumma remains fully committed to PSG for now. He joined the Parisians from AC Milan in 2021 and has since established himself as one of the top goalkeepers in Europe.
