Kwara United goalkeeper, Nurudeen Badmus, has been voted as the club’s Player of the Month for October, after a series of solid displays between the sticks.
Badmus stood out among his teammates Aule Johnmark, Gidado Toheeb and Yahaya Ibrahim during the voting process, securing an overwhelming 85.71 percent of the votes to emerge winner of the monthly award.
The young goalkeeper impressed many with his consistency and sharp reflexes, especially in the matches against Katsina United and Rangers, games in which he kept clean sheets and played a crucial role in securing valuable points for the Harmony Boys during the month under review.
His form did not slow down as they began the new month of November. Badmus was also in goal when Kwara United earned a strong 3-1 victory over reigning league champions Remo Stars, showing once again why fans have continued to applaud his growth and confidence.
Badmus’ outstanding displays in October helped push the Ilorin side further up the NPFL standings, reinforcing his importance in the squad as the season continues.
