Super Eagles head coach Eric Chelle has unveiled a 24-player squad ahead of Nigeria’s participation at the 2026 FIFA World Cup African Playoff Tournament taking place next week in Rabat, Morocco.
Captain William Troost-Ekong leads the list alongside Victor Osimhen, Stanley Nwabali, Bright Osayi-Samuel and Calvin Bassey. Alex Iwobi, Benjamin Fredericks, Frank Onyeka, Wilfred Ndidi, Samuel Chukwueze and Ademola Lookman also made the cut.
Nigeria will face Gabon in the opening semi-final at the Complexe Sportif Prince Heritier Moulay Al Hassan, while DR Congo and Cameroon will contest the other semi-final at the El-Barid Stadium.
Chelle has recalled Udinese goalkeeper Maduka Okoye and Sevilla forward Chidera Ejuke, while Raphael Onyedika, Tolu Arokodare, Jerome Akor Adams and Olakunle Olusegun are also included.
Meanwhile, Oluwasemilogo Ajayi will not be available for the match against Gabon as he serves a one-game suspension after accumulating two bookings in the qualification phase.
