Victor Osimhen has rejoined Super Eagles training, easing concerns over his availability following an incident involving teammate Ademola Lookman.
The Nigeria international trained with the rest of the squad on Wednesday, days after reports emerged that he had considered leaving the team camp and flying back to Turkey.
Osimhen, who plays for Galatasaray, was involved in a heated on-field confrontation with Lookman during Nigeria’s emphatic 4–0 victory over Mozambique in their AFCON 2025 round-of-16 encounter.
In response to the incident, the Nigeria Football Federation confirmed that the matter was addressed internally and assured fans that the squad remained fully focused on their upcoming quarter-final match.
The striker was seen in good spirits alongside his teammates as preparations continued ahead of their crucial clash against Algeria.
