Nigeria’s Super Eagles are scheduled to travel from Fès to Rabat on Monday as preparations intensify for their Africa Cup of Nations semi-final clash against hosts Morocco.
The highly anticipated last-four encounter is billed for Wednesday at the Stade Moulay Hassan.
Following their convincing 2–0 win over Algeria in the quarter-finals, the Nigerian contingent returned to Marrakech on Sunday. Upon arrival, the players underwent a light recovery workout at the Saardienne Football Complex in Fès to aid regeneration after the demanding fixture.
According to sources within the camp, the team will head to Rabat later on Monday to settle ahead of the decisive showdown.
Head coach Éric Chelle is expected to put the squad through their penultimate training session on Monday evening as final tactical plans are fine-tuned ahead of the clash with the Atlas Lions.
