The fixtures for the 14th edition of the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations, scheduled to hold in Morocco in 2026, have been officially released, setting the stage for a thrilling continental tournament.
Hosts Morocco headline Group A, where they will face familiar North African rivals Algeria, alongside Senegal and Kenya. Group B features reigning African champions South Africa, who are drawn against Côte d’Ivoire, Burkina Faso and Tanzania.
Africa’s most successful women’s team, Nigeria, will lead Group C, where the Super Falcons are set to battle Zambia, Egypt and Malawi. The matches in Group C will be played in Casablanca, one of the host cities selected for the competition. Group D pairs Ghana with Cameroon, Mali and Cape Verde in what promises to be a tightly contested pool.
The Confederation of African Football has confirmed that matches will be staged across Rabat, Casablanca and Fès, with Rabat hosting games in two different venues.
Beyond the continental title, there is also a global prize at stake. All four semi-finalists will automatically qualify for the 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup finals in Brazil, adding extra intensity to every fixture as teams battle not only for African glory but also for a place on the world stage.
