English Premier League outfit Leeds United have completed the signing of Nigerian defender Leonard Ngenge.
The centre-back joins the Yorkshire club from Nigeria Premier Football League champions Remo Stars, where he emerged as one of the standout defensive performers.
Ngenge, who previously played for Rangers, has signed a contract that will run until the end of the 2026/27 season, marking a major step forward in his professional career.
Before securing his move abroad, the defender featured seven times for Remo Stars in the current campaign, playing a key role in the clubโs domestic outings.
At international level, Ngenge has also tasted national team football. He was selected in Nigeriaโs home-based Super Eagles squad for the 2024 African Nations Championship, where he went on to make two appearances during the competition.
The transfer brings an end to his short but impactful spell with the Ikenne-based side, as he now prepares for a new challenge in English Football.
