Arsenal have officially announced that young midfielder Will Sweet has completed a loan move to Dagenham & Redbridge, where he will remain until February 26.
The North London club confirmed the temporary transfer via a statement published on their official website on Saturday, just hours before their Premier League encounter with Leeds United.
Sweet, who linked up with Arsenal’s academy in May 2015, put pen to paper on his first professional contract in July 2025. The 19-year-old is now set for his first taste of senior football away from the Emirates.
He has already settled in with his new side and could feature when Dagenham & Redbridge face Farnborough in their upcoming fixture on Saturday.
In the statement, Arsenal expressed confidence in the youngster’s progress, noting that they are eager to see him continue his development during the loan period.
The move is expected to provide Sweet with valuable first-team experience at the National League South outfit as he continues his growth in the game.
