The Emirates FA Cup once again proves why it remains one of the most exciting competitions in football as the fifth round proper draw was made on Monday evening.
The draw was expertly handled by former England stars Joe Cole and Karen Carney. It has thrown up a compelling mix of blockbuster clashes and mouth-watering opportunities for giant-killings.
With eight ties left in the last 16, Premier League giants will be on high alert as several lower-league sides host top-flight opposition.
The Full Fifth Round Draw (home team first):
- Fulham v Southampton
- Port Vale or Bristol City v Sunderland
- Newcastle United v Manchester City
- Leeds United v Norwich City
- Mansfield Town v Arsenal
- Wolverhampton Wanderers v Liverpool
- Wrexham v Chelsea
- West Ham United v Macclesfield or Brentford
Wrexham fans will be dreaming of another unforgettable night under the lights as the Championship side – enjoying a fairy-tale run – host Chelsea at the iconic Racecourse Ground.
Meanwhile, Mansfield Town have been handed the tie of a lifetime, welcoming Arsenal to Field Mill in what promises to be a raucous occasion for the League One club.

All fifth-round matches will be played over the weekend of 7-8 March 2026, with exact dates, kick-off times, and broadcast details to be confirmed following consultation with clubs, police, and broadcasters.
Each victorious club will receive £238,500 from the competition prize fund, providing a significant boost as the road to Wembley intensifies.
