Stellenbosch FC have announced the signing of Nigerian defender Olisa Ndah on a deal that runs until the end of the season, with an option to extend for a further year.
Ndah has successfully completed his medical and has already linked up with the squad in camp as they prepare for their next Betway Premiership fixture.
Chief Executive Officer Rob Benadie expressed confidence in the new arrival, describing Ndah as a player with proven quality and top-level experience who will strengthen the team immediately.
The 28-year-old recently parted ways with Orlando Pirates by mutual consent, bringing to an end a four-and-a-half-year stay in Soweto. During that period, he made 81 appearances, lifted three MTN 8 titles, and featured in CAF inter-club competitions.
Benadie added that the club remains intentional with its recruitment process, ensuring each addition aligns with the team’s needs, and noted that after closely assessing Ndah, they are confident he will be a valuable asset to the squad.
Ndah becomes the fourth Nigerian at Stellenbosch, joining Kazie Godswill, Ibraheem Jabaar, and former Maroons forward Stanley Dimgba.
He will wear the No. 99 shirt and could make his debut in Wednesday’s Betway Premiership encounter against Magesi FC at Danie Craven Stadium.
