EPL Arokodare cleared to face Aston Villa after racist abuse
Wolverhampton Wanderers F.C. striker Tolu Arokodare has been cleared to face Aston Villa F.C. in tonight’s Premier League clash.
The Nigeria international was subjected to online racial abuse after missing a penalty in Wolves’ 1-0 away defeat to Crystal Palace F.C. last weekend.
Arokodare has now received psychological clearance from the club to feature against Villa at Molineux.
According to head coach Rob Edwards, the entire coaching staff and his teammates offered the striker individual words of support and stood by him collectively during the week.
The 25-year-old joined Wolves from Belgian Pro League side KRC Genk last summer.
He has scored two goals in 18 appearances for the Old Gold this season.
