Nigeria’s national team coach, Eric Chelle, has released a 23-man squad for the Super Eagles’ upcoming international friendlies against Iran and Jordan.
Key figures in the team include captain Wilfred Ndidi, alongside Alex Iwobi and Ademola Lookman, all of whom headline the list.
Other notable inclusions are Calvin Bassey, Semi Ajayi, Moses Simon, Samuel Chukwueze, and Akor Adams.
Three players have earned their first-ever call-ups to the national team: Emmanuel Fernandez, Philip Otele, and Yira Collins Sor.
In goal, Maduka Okoye and Adebayo Adeleye return to the squad after missing the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
The Super Eagles are scheduled to face Iran in Antalya, Turkey, on Friday, March 27, with kickoff set for 4pm local time. They will then take on Jordan on Tuesday, March 31, with the match kicking off at 8pm local time.
