The 17-year-old defensive midfielder, who currently captains Colombia’s Under-17 national team, will officially join the Red Devils in the summer of 2026 once he turns 18.
Transfer insider Fabrizio Romano confirmed the news on Thursday, revealing that United paid a $1 million fee for the teenager. He added that the contracts were reviewed and approved by the club’s legal team, with lead scout Gerardo Guzmán Antonaccio overseeing the negotiations.
Orozco has already earned recognition in South America, leading Colombia to the final of the Under-17 Championship last year. Known for his intensity, leadership, and ball-winning ability, he is regarded as one of the brightest prospects in his age group.
The midfielder has also featured in Colombia’s domestic league with Fortaleza, gaining valuable first-team experience despite his young age.
His arrival continues United’s recent push to sign emerging talent, following the acquisitions of Sekou Kone and Chido Obi-Martin.
