Inter 2-1 Kairat Almaty
Inter extended their perfect run with a tight win at San Siro. Lautaro Martinez forced the breakthrough goal just before half-time after sustained pressure on goalkeeper Temirlan Anarbekov. Kairat equalised early in the second half when Ofri Arad headed in from a corner, the first goal Inter have allowed in this season’s competition. Cristian Chivu’s team regained control 12 minutes later when Carlos Augusto struck from distance to seal the victory.

Manchester City 4-1 Borussia Dortmund
Phil Foden scored twice as Manchester City handed Dortmund their first defeat of the league phase. Foden fired in the opener midway through the half, and Erling Haaland added another shortly after. Foden doubled his tally before the hour mark. Waldemar Anton reduced the margin, but Rayan Cherki restored City’s three-goal lead in stoppage time.

Club Brugge 3-3 Barcelona
Barcelona had to come from behind three times to earn a thrilling draw in Belgium. Tresoldi and Ferran Torres exchanged early goals. Carlos Forbs curled home to restore the Brugge lead before Lamine Yamal levelled with a solo run. Forbs struck again during the second half, but Barça were saved late after Yamal’s effort deflected in off Tzolis. Barcelona hit the post three times in the match.

Ajax 0-3 Galatasaray
Victor Osimhen delivered a statement performance with a hat-trick as Galatasaray swept Ajax aside in Amsterdam. He was denied earlier in the match but eventually opened the scoring with a header from a Leroy Sane cross. He then scored two penalties awarded for handball. Osimhen becomes only the second Galatasaray player to score a Champions League hat-trick.

Qarabağ 2-2 Chelsea
Chelsea needed a late goal to earn a point in Baku. Estêvão struck first for the visitors with a precise finish inside the far post. Qarabağ responded with two quick goals through Leandro Andrade and a Marko Jankovic penalty. Garnacho came off the bench and levelled shortly after the restart from a Liam Delap assist. Both teams almost won it at the end, with Garnacho forcing a late save.

Pafos 1-0 Villarreal
Derrick Luckassen made Champions League history for Pafos after sealing the club’s first ever win in the competition. After a quiet first half, the defender headed in from a Ken Sema corner a minute after the restart. Villarreal pushed hard but Pépé shot wide late on.

Newcastle 2-0 Athletic Club
Newcastle continued their strong run with a third straight clean sheet and victory at St James’ Park. Dan Burn sent a looping header into the corner to make it 1-0 in the first half, and Joelinton doubled the lead from a Harvey Barnes cross in the second period. Athletic Club had late attempts but could not convert.

Benfica 0-1 Leverkusen
Benfica remain on zero points after failing to convert their chances in Lisbon. Mourinho’s side struck the woodwork twice in the opening half and created several opportunities after the break, but Leverkusen punished them when Patrik Schick headed into the net following a defensive clearance.

Marseille 0-1 Atalanta
Lazar Samardzic stepped off the bench to produce a spectacular long-range winner in the closing stages. Atalanta had earlier missed a penalty through Charles De Ketelaere, while Marseille had clear chances from Aubameyang and Krstovic but could not take advantage.
