Nigeria’s Super Eagles are scheduled to fly out of Cairo to Fez, Morocco, today as preparations intensify for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
The team opened its pre-tournament camp in Cairo over the weekend, with head coach Eric Chelle overseeing early sessions in Egypt.
All 28 invited players are now with the squad following the arrival of Victor Osimhen on Wednesday night.
As part of their build-up, Nigeria suffered a 2–1 defeat to Egypt in a friendly match played at the Cairo International Stadium on Tuesday.
The Super Eagles are expected to continue their final phase of preparation upon arrival in Fez.
Nigeria will kick off their AFCON campaign next Tuesday against Tanzania, before facing Tunisia on December 27 and Uganda on December 30. All Group matches will be staged at the Grand Stade de Fèz.
