Mali’s Boubou Traore has been selected to officiate Nigeria’s Group C showdown against Tunisia at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
The crucial fixture will take place on Saturday at the Complexe Sportif de Fès, with Traore taking charge in the middle.
The 34-year-old is regarded as one of the continent’s most seasoned referees and has handled several high-profile CAF matches in recent years.
CAF has also named Senegalese official Issa Sy as the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) for the encounter.
