The list of teams advancing to the Round of 32 at the 2026 FIFA World Cup has grown to 13 following the latest round of group-stage matches.
Bosnia and Herzegovina, Morocco, Brazil, Switzerland, Canada, and South Africa became the newest countries to book their spots in the knockout phase after strong performances in their respective groups.
They now join Colombia, Norway, France, Argentina, Mexico, Germany, and the United States, all of whom had already confirmed qualification for the next stage of the tournament.
The latest qualifications were confirmed after the completion of the final Group A fixtures played in the early hours of Thursday.
In those matches, Mexico secured victory over Czechia, while South Africa earned a crucial win against South Korea to seal progression.
Attention now turns to another set of decisive group-stage encounters scheduled for later in the day. Ivory Coast will take on Curacao, while Germany are set to face Ecuador as teams continue their push for a place in the knockout rounds.
With several qualification spots still up for grabs, the battle for progression remains intense as the group stage nears its conclusion.
