Chelsea and 10 other Premier League clubs not involved in European competition this season have discovered their opponents in the second round of the Carabao Cup.
The second round draw took place on Monday night during the build up to Plymouth Argyle’s first round clash with Exeter City.
The Premier League clubs were joined in the draw by teams that progressed from the first round of the competition.
Chelsea will be looking to make a strong run in the Carabao Cup this season as they continue their preparations for a busy campaign.
The Blues are aiming to win the competition for the sixth time in their history.
The second round fixtures are scheduled to take place during the week commencing Monday, August 24.
Chelsea are among the 11 Premier League clubs entering the competition at this stage because they are not involved in European competition this season.
Other Premier League clubs involved in the draw include Brentford, Fulham, Newcastle United, Everton, Leeds United, Nottingham Forest, Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United.
The draw also includes Wolves, as well as several Championship and lower division sides who have progressed through the opening round.
The full list of teams involved in the second round draw is Brentford, Chelsea, Fulham, Newcastle United, Everton, Leeds United, Nottingham Forest, Tottenham Hotspur, Coventry City, Ipswich Town, Hull City, Walsall, Wolves, Stevenage, Middlesbrough, Cambridge United, Millwall, Fleetwood Town, Barnsley, Bradford City, Burnley, Stoke City, Peterborough United, Lincoln City, Crewe Alexandra, Shrewsbury Town, Doncaster Rovers, Blackburn Rovers, Sheffield Wednesday, Blackpool, Luton Town, Preston North End, Cardiff City, Leicester City, Watford, Norwich City, Leyton Orient, Reading, Birmingham City, AFC Wimbledon, West Ham United, West Bromwich Albion, Charlton Athletic, Southampton and Sheffield United.
With the first round still being completed, Chelsea and the other clubs will now wait to begin their Carabao Cup campaigns later this month.
