Kylian Mbappé’s legal dispute with former club Paris Saint-Germain has taken another turn after a French court dismissed his complaint alleging psychological harassment by the club.
Mbappé had accused PSG of using pressure tactics to influence his decision as he approached the end of his contract in Paris. Among his claims was an alleged threat to send him to the reserves, a situation he faced during the summer of 2023.
According to reports from French publication L’Equipe, Mbappé later withdrew the specific harassment complaint. The investigation was subsequently dismissed because there was no longer sufficient basis to proceed with the case.
A source cited by the publication explained that questioning witnesses and individuals involved would serve little purpose after Mbappé himself chose not to maintain the complaint.
Mbappé’s wider legal battle with PSG, however, has also produced a major financial victory for the Real Madrid forward.
A French Labour court previously ruled in his favour over unpaid wages, bonuses and holiday-related payments. The ruling awarded Mbappé €61 million in compensation after the dispute, which began in 2025.
PSG decided not to appeal the ruling and will therefore be required to pay the amount.
With the harassment complaint now dismissed, Mbappé’s outstanding legal disputes with his former club appear to have reached their conclusion.
