Waheed Bello Adeolu has been appointed as the new General Manager of Nigeria National League side Crown FC as the club steps up preparations for the 2026 27 NNL season.
The appointment was confirmed by the Oyo State Government through the Ministry of Youth and Sports Development, with Adeolu handed the responsibility of providing the leadership and technical direction required to reposition the club ahead of the new campaign.
Adeolu’s appointment comes at a crucial period for the Ajilete Warriors, who are currently preparing for the 2026 27 Nigeria National League season. He will be expected to provide the administrative leadership and strategic direction needed to help the club achieve its ambitions during the campaign.
Crown FC will begin their NNL campaign with a difficult away fixture against Heartland in Owerri on Saturday, October 30. The opening match will provide Adeolu and the team with an early opportunity to begin putting their preparations to the test.
The club has also made another change to its management structure, with Oyebowale Adetayo promoted from his previous position as Welfare Director to Chief Operating Officer, COO.
The latest appointments are expected to strengthen Crown FC’s administrative structure as the club prepares for the demands of the new NNL season. With Adeolu taking charge as General Manager and Adetayo moving into the COO role, the Ajilete Warriors will be hoping the changes provide the stability and direction required for a successful campaign.
