Victor Osimhen to Saudi club Al Hilal is at risk after both the striker and his current club Napoli pushed back on the initial bid from the Saudi side.
Osimhen has turned down Al Hilal’s first offer, claiming it didn’t improve on the proposal made last year by the Riyadh-based team.
Meanwhile, Napoli remains firm on the player’s €75 million release clause and have rejected Al Hilal’s offer of €65 million plus an additional €5 million in bonuses.
With the deadline to submit final squad lists for the FIFA Club World Cup fast approaching on Sunday, Al Hilal are expected to come back with a better deal soon.
The Saudi club will kick off their Club World Cup campaign on June 18 in Miami, facing European giants Real Madrid.
Meanwhile, Galatasaray continues to pursue Osimhen for a permanent transfer after his impressive loan spell with the Turkish side.
