Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes has reportedly rejected another huge offer from Saudi Pro League side Al Hilal, choosing to remain at Old Trafford.

The Portuguese midfielder was presented with a proposed four year contract worth £133 million in total. The package would have seen Fernandes earn around £640,000 per week during his time in Saudi Arabia.

Fernandes had already faced a similar decision last summer when Al Hilal made an approach for his signature. The Saudi club also submitted a proposal of almost £100 million to Manchester United, but the midfielder ultimately decided against leaving.

The latest approach again failed to change Fernandes’ position. According to a report by The Sunday Mirror, the 31 year old has rejected the offer and remains committed to Manchester United.

Fernandes’ decision comes despite continued interest from clubs across Europe. Galatasaray, Juventus and AC Milan were among those linked with the midfielder earlier in the summer, but United made their position clear and indicated that interested clubs would not have an easy path to signing their captain.

For Manchester United, Fernandes’ decision represents a significant boost. The midfielder remains central to the club’s plans and continues to be one of the most important figures in the squad.
