Real Madrid Bolster Fitness Team to Tackle Injury Crisis
Real Madrid have brought in two new fitness coaches to combat the injury troubles that disrupted their squad over the past year. As reported by Guillermo Rai of The Athletic, the club has permanently added Javier Arnáiz and Ismael Fernández to the technical staff.
Arnáiz, previously the performance manager for Mexico’s national team, will focus on gym training and physical conditioning. Fernández, who holds a PhD in Sports Science, will handle performance data analysis. Both have prior experience with the club and will be implementing a technology called Thermohuman, which uses thermal imaging to identify injury risks before they escalate.
