Real Madrid have reportedly placed a €160 million (£137 million) valuation on Brazilian winger Vinicius Junior amid growing speculation linking him with a move to Arsenal.
The Spanish giants are believed to be open to negotiations but are determined to receive a substantial fee rather than risk losing the forward on a free transfer when his current contract expires next year.
Arsenal are said to be exploring the possibility of signing the 26-year-old as Mikel Arteta looks to further strengthen his squad following their Premier League triumph. Vinicius is viewed as an ideal addition to boost the team’s attacking options on the left wing.
Despite Real Madrid enduring a difficult campaign last season, the Brazilian remained one of their standout performers, registering 22 goals and 14 assists in 53 appearances across all competitions.
